Attu Zinc Ltd. is a privately held Finnish-based mineral exploration company focused on the development of zinc properties. The Company holds two properties of merit- Attu and Orijärvi -located in the Orijärvi Belt of southwest Finland - the eastern extension of the Bergslagen Belt of Sweden - home to the prolific Zinkgruvan mine.
The Attu Zn-Pb-Ag-Cu property is the Company's most advanced project. Brought to feasibility by Outokumpu in the early 1980s, it's amenable to open pit mining and has great potential for resource expansion. The Orijärvi mine is a former Zn-Cu producer which holds good potential for new resources at depth and strike.
The Company has a comprehensive exploration program planned for the properties. Work has already commenced at the Attu property with further work planned for the near future.
